How to Avoid Flooding Issues as the Thaw Out Begins
Honestly, 40 degrees has never felt so good! However, we all need to be aware of the potential issues the melting of all this ice and snow can have on our homes.

The Joliet Weather Center shared some information from NOAA about the potential issues homeowners may face and how to attack them.
And of course, keep an eye out for falling ice from taller buildings. Icicles tend to fall between 5 and 10 feet from the side of the building. If you notice ice on the ground next to a building, assume another chunk could be falling at any time.
