I don’t believe there is anything official in the works, but I’m also not a Hollywood insider!

However, it seems like more and more of a possibility to have a female 007 sooner rather than later, and I’m totally on board!

Daniel Craig, the latest iteration of James Bond, said he is shutting it down in 2020 with the release of No Time to Die, but I’m sure the franchise will survive. And if that happens, who takes over the roll of the main character? There’s no reason that a female can’t rise to the level of 007 and take over where James Bond left off!

A former Bond seems onboard as well! When asked about the possibility during a film festival in France, Brosnan said, “I think we’ve watched the guys do it for the last 40 years. Get out of the way, guys, and put a woman up there. I think it would be exhilarating, it would be exciting.” There have been rumors that Lashana Lynch, who has a part in the upcoming Bond movie No Time To Die, might take over the role of the super-spy.

What do you think!? Is it time for our first female 007?! If so, who should play her?
