Is The Queen Catalog About To Sell For $1 Billion?

Classic rock catalogs have been selling for big money in recent years, and Queen might be about to top them all!

Right now, Disney Music Group owns all of Queen’s songs, but according to a CNN report, Universal Music Group is in talks to acquire the Queen catalog  – and the deal “could surpass $1 billion”.

That would more than double the $500 million paid for Bruce Springsteen’s catalog in 2021.

With the continued rise of streaming music, owning a popular artist’s catalog can be seen as a long-term investment!

CNN reports that the deal could happen “within one month” – but Disney Music Group says it has no plans to sell.
