Laughter Through Tears Is My Favorite Emotion – Truvy

Hey it’s Chris Miles and many of you know about my second passion – theater.
More specifically local community theater. Now I do love a good Broadway production, but what I really get a kick out of is seeing local talent coming together to produce a show.  A show that might feature folks who could be your neighbors.

Westmont Performing Arts is putting on a killer show this month. One, I think you may have heard of or at least seen on the big screen. Steel Magnolias? The stage play is written by Robert Harlin, and tells the tale of enduring friendships through the seasons of life,  set in the local beauty salon.

Come out March 15-17 and 22-24 to see the characters you fell in love with on the big screen come to life before you eyes.
