Lemont Holding Community Raffle to Support Small Businesses With Winners Getting $3,500 in Local Gift Cards

Everywhere you go, small businesses are struggling, but it looks like the small business owners in Lemont are trying to band together and help each other out, and they are hoping the community helps them too.

The small business of Lemont have joined together to start a campaign called the We Love Lemont Small Business Relief. Essentially it’s a raffle. Community members are encouraged to buy $10 tickets. The prizes are furnished by the small businesses themselves in the form of gift cards. In addition to that, the businesses are donating other prizes for what they call “daily micro-prizes.”

There are 35 businesses participating, each have given $100 to the prize pool. There will be three grand prize winners who will get a prize package totaling $3,500 in local gift cards! You have until May 10th to buy a ticket.

The money raised be be distributed equally back to the participating businesses! A very clever idea to help struggling businesses in these tough times.
