Lemont Will Soon Become the Area’s Outdoor Recreation Destination With Huge Adventure Park!
Have you seen the plans for the new Quarries Adventure Park in Lemont!?
HOLY SMOKES!
The groundbreaking is coming up soon, and it will be a 300-acre outdoor park featuring the tallest and largest aerial adventure course in North America!
Here’s what to expect:

260-element aerial adventure course (biggest in North America)

The longest spanning zipline at 1,050-feet (longest in tri-state area)

Mountain bike pump track (built in collaboration with the International Mountain Bicycling

Association)

Running, hiking and mountain biking trails

Flatwater paddling for kayaking, canoeing, and paddle boats

Amphitheater and Kids Zone

Restaurant, beer garden, and concessions
It’s being started by two guys, one a current Lemont resident, with backgrounds in software start ups.
It will be located adjacent to the Lemont quarries, near the intersection of Walker and Main Sts.
Obviously, this is going to be CRAZY fun, but the economic impacts on the city of Lemont and the surrounding areas are going to be HUGE! As a native Lemonter, I’m extremely proud and excited!
