Leslie’s Rules of the Road.

Leslie Harris here, and I’ve been doing a lot of driving the last few days. I think the way I drive makes sense, but apparently it does not to everyone.

The incident that prompted this blog is my commute on my way into The River today. I was in the far right lane on I-88. The speed limit is 60. I was going 60, and someone was riding my tail. Again, I was in the far right lane, and there were two (or was it three?) lanes to my left, open for anyone to pass me by.  Is it wrong for me to do the speed limit when I’m in the far right lane?

Likewise, yesterday when I was driving, someone was in the far left lane, and doing 10 miles UNDER the speed limit. I flashed my lights three or four times, and the person continued on their merry way, 10 miles under the speed limit. The driving conditions were not bad at that point, so I very carefully passed on the right, which I am very reluctant to do, but I needed get to work. Am I asking too much?

What are some of your pet peeves while you are driving? Let me know in the comments
