Liam Gallagher Drops Major Hint About Rumored Reunion

Could it really be happening!?  UK outlet The Sun reports that a long-awaited Oasis reunion is in the works.

Brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher will reportedly receive an eye-popping £50 million – roughly $66 million in U.S. dollars – for a global reunion tour in 2025.

The band hasn’t performed together since 2009, when they broke up after the brothers got into a pre-show fight in Paris.

As rumors swirl, Liam Gallagher all but confirmed the news during his set at Sunday’s Reading festival.

Liam closed the show with the Oasis song “Half the World Away”, dedicating it to his brother Noel.

Then, he dropped an even bigger hint – more like an announcement, actually.  The screen flashed ‘27.08.24  8am’.

If you’re not familiar with the European style of listing dates, that’s Tuesday, August 27th.

Noel has infamously refused to reunite with his brother for years.  But Liam appeared to confirm the news, posting on X “I never did like that word FORMER”.
