Sha Na Na is playing in Addison tonight as part of the Rock N Wheels Summer Concert Series. Tonight is “Remembering Woodstock” night, so I was excited to talk to one of the founding members of Sha Na Na Jocko Marcellino. We spoke about how his new group was recruited to play that fateful festival 50 years ago (thanks, Jimi Hendrix!), what that weekend was like, how they parlayed it into a successful TV series and feature in the movie musical Grease, and what makes the band different than any other group out there!

We also dive into Jocko’s son, who recently decided to switch careers…and is now a brain surgeon! Wait till you hear what he started doing!
