This Sunday (12/27), six breweries in Kane County will come together to raise funds for bartenders and servers during a statewide ban on indoor dining.

The fundraiser, called “Brew-Aid,” will have a FREE livestreamed concert held at 8:30 p.m. The event will also highlight bartenders and have giveaways.

A PayPal account and GoFundMe campaign have been set up to collect donations for employees at six Kane County breweries: Pollyanna Brewing Company, Riverlands Brewing Company, D and G Brewing, 93 Octane Brewery, Alter Brewing + Kitchen and Penrose Brewing.

According to a Facebook event description from Pollyanna Brewing, “During these difficult times, it’s clear that the service and entertainment industries are among those who have been hit the hardest. We’re calling on everyone to join us in helping our local bartenders, servers, and musicians that we have come to know as friends. Your donation, no matter the size, will have a direct impact on your community.”

Donations can be made through GoFundMe or PayPal.
