Magazines that make you go “hmmm…”

As the internet and social media have taken over the world, magazine subscriptions have dropped.  Remember flipping through the pages, having to look at a million ads to see one little article?  Pretty much the same online except that the ads shoot right into your face.

But anyway, in case you were looking for something new to read, LISTVERSE, a website that’s basically nothing but top ten lists about anything, has put together the “Top 10 Bizarre Magazines You Can Buy Today”.

Here’s a few:

• Elevator World  – You guessed it, all about the world’s best elevators.
• Twins – Billed as the “Magazine for Multiples”.
• Miniature Donkey Talk – Yes, a magazine about tiny donkeys.
• PRO Monthly – No, not pro athletes. This one covers Portable Restroom Operators, who are really just like the rest of us.
• And last, but not least…Girls and Corpses. You’ll be glad to know I didn’t look to find out anything else about this one.  Though it’s not hard to figure out.

I guess mags like People and Golf Digest are strictly passe these days.
