Coldplay brought out a surprise guest during their headlining set at the Glastonbury Festival over the weekend. Actor Michael J. Fox joined the band, playing guitar on “Humankind” and “Fix You”.

Fox, who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease over 30 years ago, was in a wheelchair the performance.

Frontman Chris Martin told the crowd “The main reason we’re in a band is because of ‘Back to the Future’, so thank you to Michael, our hero.”

It’s not the first time Fox has rocked out with Coldplay – they performed “Johnny B. Goode” at a 2016 show at Met Life Stadium.

Michael J. Fox’s guest appearance with Coldplay was not just a highlight of the night but a reminder of the power of music and the incredible spirit of those who inspire us.
