Money, Money, Money, Money!

Money is not what makes the world go round, but it’s pretty tough to live without it. I had an old friend who use to say “It’s expensive to be poor”. Pink Floyd’s got an opinion too:  “Money, get away.
You get a good job with more pay and you’re okay. Money, it’s a gas.
Grab that cash with both hands and make a stash. New car, caviar, four star daydream,
Think I’ll buy me a football team.”

And then there’s the old adage “Money can’t buy me love.”

Money cannot buy love, and love cannot buy money, but money increases the chances of love, and love decreases the need for money. When one is in love, money is of less significance, and when one lacks money for basic needs, love is often more at risk.

So I guess my point is that money does play a significant role in our lives. If we got it, we probably spend it…say like at Christmas time. How’d you do this past holiday season? Have you now realized there’s a bit of a debt hangover from your holiday celebrations and spending? Well maybe the folks who wrote the piece below can help! Check em out!!
