More Info on Last Night’s Tornado
It’s rare, but it does happen. Tornadoes that tear through communities late at night. Besides of tornadoes that touchdown along highways during rush hour, it’s the worst possible time. Families are sleeping and could be very much unaware of the danger barreling toward them.
It’s for that reason I am shocked we haven’t heard of any serious injuries or fatalities with last night’s storm that tore up portions of Naperville, Woodridge, and Darien. It’s equal parts luck and diligence from weather-ready residents, forecasters and media outlets who spread the word late into the night.
