One round of tornadic storms has already moving through our area, but according to the National Weather Service, more is expected tonight.

Showers and thunderstorms are expected to redevelop by early to mid evening across a portion of northern Illinois and northwest Indiana. This area of thunderstorms will move slowly southeast through the night. These thunderstorms are anticipated to have a
scattered severe hail and wind threat. There will also likely be a flooding threat, possibly only over a small area, but due to training thunderstorms this could be a localized flash flooding threat.
