Movie Remakes: Don’t Knock ‘Em Until You’ve Seen Them!

So I have this pet peeve. It’s when people hate a movie before it is even released. Usually it’s because they get all upset with a remake or a squeal, and they think it will someone ruin the original for them.

You know what I’m talking about, right. Post like this:

Another Remake of Ghostbusters? One of my favorite all time movies as a kid, please don’t ruin it. Paul Rudd gives me hope though.

Just stop. Making a new movie doesn’t ruin the original. The original is still there for you to watch in all it’s glory! Don’t hate the movie before it’s even made people!

I tell you this because I’m am SUPER pumped for who will be starring in the new Ghostbusters flick coming out in 2020!

Ghostbusters is one of my all-time favorite movies. I am not worried that the original is going to be ruined. I’m not angry that a new one “needs to be made.” I’m excited it’s being made because it could be great! Probably not as great as I believe the first one is, but that would be an unfair standard.

And always remember…if someone asks if you’re a god…you say, “Yes!”
