Scott Mackay posed a question recently on our Facebook. I encourage you to read the comments after judging my song choices!

My dad actually answered the Facebook question, an answer I could have told you before he even submitted the comment. “Radar Love.”

Yep, that’s on my list, too! My brother and I grew up with that music on garage radio as he was doing various projects. And yes, he would literally turn up the volume when certain songs came on, and those songs have stuck with me as well, becoming my very own “turn it up” songs!

Here’s my list, in no particular order, and very much influenced by my dad:

Golden Earring – Radar Love

Todd Rundgren – Band the Drum All Day

The J Geils Band – Centerfold

MeatLoaf – Paradise By the Dashboard Light, Two out of Three Aint Bad…pretty much anything Meatloaf and I’m not sorry about it!

Bowie – Suffragette City (Wham, bam, thank you ma’am!)

Zep – When the Levy Breaks

Charlie Daniels Band – Devil Went Down to Georgia

BTO – Takin’ Care of Business

Don McLean – American Pie

The Eagles – Life in the Fast Lane

Pretty much any AC/DC or Metallica

ZZ Top – Cheap Sunglasses

Aerosmith – Back In the Saddle

Marshall Tucker – Can’t You See

Allman Brothers – Midnight Rider

Molly Hatchett – Flirtin’ With Disaster

David Essex – Rock On

About a hundred more I’m forgetting right now!

Hey, I never said it was a super unique list…just songs I really enjoy at louder decibels!
