National Butterfly Center Shutting Down.

The Butterfly is such a delicate creature and they are so in short supply these days. I know I love seeing them on my patio buzzing and landing on my flowers in the summer. The Monarch is especially beautiful and really becoming less and less available. I also have a white one that comes around every year. The legend has it that a white butterfly is the spirit of someone you knew who has passed, so when I see the white one I think immediately of my son Spencer. Sometimes there are more than one white butterfly’s so I’m thinking’ Spence is hangin’ with his grandma, my Mom. Butterfly’s are just very cool, so that’s why this story saddens me about the National Butterfly Center closing.
