New Order Responds To Fan Complaints About Cancelled Show
New Order is responding to fans’ comments after having to cancel their Cardiff Bay show on Thursday due to “extreme weather.”
Some disappointed UK fans pointed out to the band that by the time the show would have started, the storm had largely cleared from the Cardiff area.

A similar event happened at RiverEdge Park in Aurora last week as I was broadcasting live before the Get the Led Out show! A storm was pushing in…a storm with heavy rain, strong wind and frequent lightning. The organizers wisely evacuated the park, but were able to let people back in about an hour later and enjoy the show.
To be honest, I’m really tired about hearing people complain about venues having to postpone and cancel shows! These people bust their butt to make sure guests’ experiences are the best they can be. No one WANTS to postpone, much less CANCEL, a show. It obviously inconveniences the fans, but also costs everyone money. They do it because the last thing they want is an accident to happen. If you are even in the situation where you must evacuate a concert or it gets postponed or cancelled, be understanding and thank the workers for their service.
