New Traffic Patters Around Aurora Outlet Mall for Black Friday

As usual, the Chicago Premium Outlet Malls, known better ’round these parts as the Aurora Outlet Mall, will be having their big Black Friday event on Friday. With all the people expected, the Aurora Police Department wants you to be aware of a few changes to how traffic will be flowing around the mall on Farnsworth, just north of I-88.

The first tip is stay away! Unless you are going to the mall itself, best to steer clear of the area entirely on Friday, if possible.

If you are headed to the mall to find some deals, keep the following in mind:

The following closures will go into effect from 4 a.m. until approximately 7 p.m. on Friday, November 25th:
Corporate Blvd. will be closed between Farnsworth Ave. and Church Rd. (Businesses on Corporate Blvd may be accessed by employees/visitors/deliveries from Church Road)
Bilter Rd. will be closed between Church Ave. and Farnsworth Ave.
Temporary closures may occur for the following roadways:
 Southbound traffic on Farnsworth Ave. between Butterfield Rd. (IL-56) and Bilter Rd.
 Eastbound traffic on Bilter Rd. from Farnsworth Ave.

Chicago Premium Outlet’s doors will open at 6 a.m. on Friday and stay open until 9 p.m. On Saturday, the mall will once again be open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. On Sunday the mall will be open for 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The latest information regarding closures will be posted in real-time on the Aurora Police Department’s Twitter: @AuroraPoliceIL
