Oh Man, I Hope This Is True! Group Planning To Raid Area 51!

Never underestimate the power of ridiculous people in numbers.

That’s why I’m holding out hope that this event actually takes place in some form or another!

Nearly a million people have responded to the event on Facebook titled Storm Area 51, They Can’t Stop All of Us.

OK, it doesn’t take too much detective work to figure out this is a joke, but here’s the thing. People, as a whole, can be pretty dumb (see story of woman who put two kids in an inflatable pool on top of her car).

So even if the event was created in jest, when there’s 800,000 people interested in it there has to be SOME people that will actually try to go through with it. At least that’s what I’m hoping for for my own personal entertainment.

I don’t know much about how the US military works, but I do know that they don’t have a great sense of humor when it comes to these types of things.

So, you better believe I have Sept. 20th circled on my calendar!
