Our Family Trip to the Farm Got Me Feelin’ Those Fall Vibes!
If you would have asked me a few months ago what my favorite season was, I’m not sure I could answer…I like all the seasons for their own reasons, but now…now I know.
I’m ready to throw on the jeans and flannel, grab a PSL and have a backyard bonfire. It’s fall! No question.
Maybe if I had the jacked bod to walk around without a shirt all day my decision would be different, but nope. For me, it’s the cool weather and the trips to the farm that I enjoy the most.
We took the kids over to Photo-Op Farms – a.k.a. Heap’s Giant Pumpkin farm in Minooka – over the weekend. They have dedicated a few acres of property to a sunflower field. Needless to say, the clientele was very well dressed and there was more than one selfie stick! It really is a gorgeous spot to snap a few for the ‘Gram, which we did! Part of the ticket price includes the opportunity to cut down your favorite flower and lug it home. I think they look nice!
