Paul and Ringo need to watch out for wet paint
For now while social distancing has kind of cleared the streets, some cities are taking the time to spruce things up a little.
London’s famous Abbey Road has gotten got a fresh coat of paint! The white lines on the “zebra crossing” are once again as bright and white as the day Sir Paul walked across the road barefoot, making a bunch of people believe he was dead. Spoiler alert: he’s not.
And in case you were wondering, Westminster’s city council said that workers practiced social distancing and frequent hand washing while working.
The crosswalk is of course considered to be of historical importance in British heritage. I’m glad it got repainted. Unfortunately, my wife has followed suit and gotten the fever for cleaning closets at home, with my help of course. Oh well.
