If you’ve ever eaten at a McDonald’s in another country, you know that they serve different items not available in the US. But you may soon get to sample those offerings without needing your passport.

Business Insider has learned that the Golden Arches plans to add “Worldwide Favorites” to its menus.

According to internal documents, some of the fares include the Grand McExtreme Bacon Burger from Spain, Canada’s Tomato-Mozzarella Chicken Sandwich, Cheesy Bacon Fries from Australia, and a Stroopwafel McFlurry from the Netherlands.

WKIPEDIA: A stroopwafel (literally “syrup waffle“) is a waffle made from two thin layers of baked dough with a caramel syrup filling in the middle that is popular in the Netherlands.

To make room for the new-to-America dishes, “Signature Crafted” favorites will be retired in early June.

I’m not a huge fast-food guy by any means, but I’m also a busy red-blooded American who sometimes needs a quick meal. I sure wouldn’t mind trying some new items!
