Professional Kite Flyers Coming to the Suburbs

Look up and you’ll see something amazing in DeKalb this weekend!

The 18th annual DeKalb Kite Fest is coming to Kiwanis Park on Sunday, and it features professional kite flyers from all over the country! You can also test out your own kite flying skills with your own rig, or you can buy one at the festival (while supplies last).

Music and seasonal activities will also be available. The popular candy drop event will take place, and food trucks from Big D’s Hotdogs, Kona Ice, The Lovely Lemon, and The Cream King will also be available.

The best part…this is a FREE event!
