WWL claims pumpkin spice addiction is real. LSU psychologist Dr. Michelle Moore tells the station; “(Pumpkin spice) Usually reminds you of something happy, or pleasurable. So for some people, pumpkin spice is associated with fall, and makes other associations to happy memories. The addiction or obsession is also just from social media, and people seeing that so many others are excited about it, that they want to be a part of that. Because they know that something that that everyone is paying attention to, it’s on people’s minds. And people will buy most anything just because it says pumpkin spice.”
The Daily Meal claims Spam.com and Walmart.com will begin selling Pumpkin Spice Spam on September 23rd. The limited edition meat is only available online. Spam’s pumpkin spice flavor is made with salt, cinnamon, clove, allspice and Nutmeg.

Metro UK claims a San Diego company, called The Honest Kitchen, is producing a line of pumpkin spice lattes for dogs and cats. The latte contains pumpkin, goat’s milk, spices, honey and other good ingredients. The drink will be out this Fall.
