Race like the wind, Tarragon!

Hey, it’s Rich Dale here.  Tonight is a night of second chances for my wiener dog!  Tarragon competed in the Chicago Steel Wiener Dog Race last year, and tonight it’s the second annual!

The Chicago Steel are taking on the Dubuque Fighting Saints tonight at the Fox Valley Ice Arena.  And 95.9 The River is a part of it all!  Nick Jakusz and the River Road Crew will be hanging out before the game from 5-7 PM, then the puck drop is at 7:05.  https://www.959theriver.com/event/join-the-river-road-crew-before-the-game-3/

But that’s not all!  Tonight is that second annual wiener dog race and last year my dog Tarragon (pictured) did not quite make it into first place.  (Though he did make it onto the Chicago Steel Facebook page being held by one of the players!)  But tonight’s another shot!  OK, so he’s 11 years old, but that doesn’t mean he can’t wipe the ice with those other dogs.

I’m done here at the station at around 7, so I’ll be heading straight over there to meet my wife and the dog and hope for glory in the race!  Hope to see you there.
