Recreational Marijuana Is Now Legal In Illinois!

Today it became official in the state of Illinois.  Feel free to light up a fatty!

Governor JB Pritker has signed into law that marijuana for recreational use is now legal.  It is now the 11th state to do so.  This also means that nearly 800,000 people with criminal records of purchasing or possessing 30 grams of pot or less could have those records expunged.

What are your thoughts on this? Will it bring in revenue for the state? How will this affect those with medical conditions who can use it for medicinal purposes?

I think this will overall be good for the state.  I may not be lighting up anytime soon, but there are bigger issues to address than if someone is smoking or possessing this.
