Right There on 75th Street!

Hey, Leslie Harris in for Nick Jakusz today.

When I was on my way to work a couple of days ago, I had to stop and do some shopping along 75th Street. I think I was in Woodridge, a bit east of route 53, when I saw something very large and brown on the side of the road. There was a huge deer, right there, just grazing away. It was beautiful, and I would have stopped to take a picture of it if there wasn’t somebody right behind me! I do think the cars in front of me were slowing down to look at it.

I wrote a blog a couple of months ago about seeing a deer at Catherine Chevalier Woods in Rosemont. That one let me get really close to it before it trotted away.

Maybe it’s because I’m such a huge animal lover, but I never get tired of seeing these majestic creatures, do you?
