Looks like Schaumburg just built their first round-a-bout.

There are other round-a-bouts around the suburbs, and from what I’ve read on various neighborhood Facebook groups, there are mixed reactions.

Personally, I don’t understand what the problem is. It seems like it’s simply just resistance to change because study after study has proven round-a-bouts to be safer and more efficient than the standard intersections. I drive though one every day from Plainfield to Aurora, and I’m a fan!
