Scott Childers
Scott Childers has been hanging around The River for many years – almost twenty!
He is a native Chicagoan, who has had the opportunity to work at several different radio and television stations around town. He was also one of the first television traffic reporters, working on NBC 5 and later Fox 32.
In addition to joining you on the weekends and filling in during the week, Scott’s main role is Chief Engineer for The River and other Alpha Media stations. Yep, he keeps the station on and in the air!
When he’s not at The River, you may find Scott at one of our many local craft breweries or enjoying a show at a local venue with his wife Karen. A die-hard Chicago Cubs fan, Scott patiently awaits the team’s next World Series opportunity.
