Someone Invented a “Pizza Fork”

As an Italian, I feel like it is my duty to preach that you’re not supposed to use a fork and knife to eat pizza. However… as a human, I’d by lying if I told you that I don’t use a fork and knife when I eat a huge piece of deep dish (even though I more-so do it for YOUR sake so you don’t’ have to see me stuff my face and make a mess).

Some people (read “crazy people”) will use a fork and knife to eat any kind of pizza… deep dish, pan, thin crust.

I introduce to you… the Pizza Fork.

There is currently a Kickstarter for the Pizza Fork, which lets us use one utensil to both cut a pizza into slices and then to eat each slice by the forkful.

This $10 Pizza Fork is being marketed by Daniel Morvec, who runs a novelty company called Stupidiotic which also carry that plastic neck pouch that carries a piece of pizza around your neck. I’m thinking this guy has a fascination with pizza… and he may be my soul mate.

Morvec says that it’s all or nothing. If he doesn’t reach his Kickstarter goal of $10,000 by 8:30pm CST tomorrow (1/12), it’s not happening. He still has quite a ways to go on his Kickstarter page.

At first I felt bad for the guy, but then I saw that this kind of thing kind of already exists. You can find Pizza Forks on Amazon. Check them out here or here.

So maybe this guy just needs to chill and focus on selling more of the around-the-neck pizza pouches.
