Struggling With What to Do? Give Blood.

Lots of emotions today, no doubt about it. None of them great. I’m still trying to work my way through all of this mentally, but there is one thing I know for sure…one thing we can all do right now to help someone, to save a life.

Please consider donating blood.

I’ve partnered with Versiti Blood Centers the last few weeks to promote life-saving blood donations. And with the events of yesterday in Texas, I keep coming back to donating blood as something we can all do to help someone.

One of the largest uses for donated blood is in the aftermath of traumatic events. There might not be much consolation for those who have suffered loss in the past, but there is something you can do RIGHT NOW to maybe help save a life and prevent tragedy in the future.

Coming up on June 27th, Versiti Blood Centers is partnering with four baseball teams around the area to Strike Out Blood Shortage. You can read about that here, as well as finding a place and time more convenient.

Is it going to solve the world’s problems? No, probably not. But at the very least you will be doing something to help someone else in a world that needs a bit more of that.

Please donate.
