A new study has found working long hours increases the risk of stroke by as much as 45 percent. Wow!
In study results published in Journal Stroke, French researchers found people who worked more than 40 hours a week for more than 10 years had at least a 45 percent greater risk of stroke. The percentage is higher for people over 50.
By the way, the average U.S. citizen works between 47 and 50 hours per week, according to the American Heart Association.
