Thank A Farmer Today. (And Everyday)

Hi, it’s Leslie Harris and today is National Farmers day.

Farming is a tough life. I have family members who are farmers, and my husband and I actually own a small farm in eastern Indiana. Farmers work hard, and if the weather doesn’t cooperate, the harvest can be poor, no matter what the farmer does.

Without farmers, we would be naked, homeless, hungry and sober! It’s a sobering thought.

I guess most farmers continue to farm because they love it. There are certainly easier ways to make money, so I’m grateful that they continue to do so.

So, if you are a farmer, thank you!
