The Coolest Bus EVER!

Hey it’s Leslie Harris, and on Saturday, I saw one of the coolest buses ever. Yeah, I know what you’re thinking, a bus that’s cool? No really! Actor Jeremy Renner has a TV show called Rennervations, where he partners with organizations to renovate vehicles that will make a difference fin under served communities.

This bus is run by the BASE Chicago, and is a fully functional mobile recording studio! They also have several musical instruments, including guitars, keyboards and a drum set. In fact, the guy actually said that anyone from Aerosmith to Chance the rapper could record there. I don’t know how he picked up on my Aerosmith vibe, but I digress.

The BASE Chicago an organization that helps keep city kids off the streets. They have programs for student athletes, and now student musicians, and the kids can join the program as young as 3 years old, through the age of 18. They’ve also had kids in their program who have gotten into music programs at colleges.
