The Friends Theme Song In the Style of the ’20 Thru the ’90s

Something to hold you over until the “Friends” reunion finally goes down.  The Postmodern Jukebox people did a video called the “Evolution of the ‘Friends’ Theme Song Through the Decades”.

It’s how the song would sound in each decade from the 1920s to the 1990s, when the show debuted.  It guest stars The Rembrandts, who did the original version (they show up at the 2:41 mark).

The Postmodern Jukebox is a group that reworks popular music into different vintage geners…so exactly what they did with this tune.
