The Illinois Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s Inaugural Class to Be Inducted Tonight in Joliet
A big night of music is in store in downtown Joliet tonight! Some of Illinois’s biggest musical names will be inducted as the inaugural class of the newly minted Illinois Rock and Roll Museum Hall of Fame. The ceremony takes place tonight at the Rialto Square Theater, and you can go!
Class of 2020 Inductees include:

- Chicago
- Cheap Trick
- Buddy Guy
- Muddy Waters
- Dick Biondi
- Larry Lujack
- WLS Radio – AM
- Ides of March
- The Buckinghams
- Chess Records
There ceremony will be live on the state of the Rialto Square Theatre (where else?!) and feature some big names!
Confirmed for live, on-stage appearances to date include REO Speedwagon, Ides of March, New Colony 6, Jimy Sohns of the Shadows of Knight, Mud Morganfield (son of Muddy Waters), Carlisle and Greg Guy (daughter & son of Buddy Guy), the Millennials with video appearances from Cheap Trick, Chicago, and more to be announced soon.
Guest speakers and presenters include Scott Slocum – WJOL, Terri Hemmert—WXRT, Ryan Arnold – WXRT, Sherman & Tingle—WDRV, Mitch Michaels—95.9 The River, Greg Brown—Retired from WLS, Lisa Fielding—WBBM, Lisa Allen—WTMX, Pete McMurray—Radio Personality, Marv Nyren GM/Cumulus Media.
