The Jakusz Halloween Tradition
Ever since we had kids, a tradition has built around trick-or-treating on Halloween. My wife’s side of the family, which includes a few kids, comes over, we cook up some chili, have some beverages and walk around our south Plainfield neighborhood.
We had plans on putting our fire pit in the front driveway, projecting a movie on to the garage door and welcoming everyone walking by for a piece of candy and a smile! The weather may change our plans, but the overall tradition stays intact!
We’ve had some pretty great costumes! Max was Baby Ditka a few years ago…that was a hit! Our little girl Macy was dressed up as a Cabbage Patch Kid, complete with box built around the stroller.
