The MLB’s lockout is officially affecting Spring Training. Pitchers and catchers were scheduled to report Tuesday, but didn’t due to the lack of progress made in recent negotiations. The league instituted a lockout on December 2nd after the collective bargaining agreement between it and the Players Association ended. Both sides most recently met on Saturday, but no deal has been agreed to. Commissioner Rob Manfred addressed the media last week and said it was still his plan for the season to start on time.  See more at NBC5Chicago
