If you haven’t seen it, Data Is Beautiful released a video showing the popularity of different social networks from 2003 to 2022. It’s one of those fast-moving graphs where you watch the number of the network’s users rise or fall.

It’s fascinating to see MySpace dominating in 2003, and then eventually disappear . . . as Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok work their way up.
