The Season of SO MUCH Giving!

We are in the “Season of Giving” right now, and we are sure living up to the name!!

At this very moment, we have not one…not two, but THREE different charitable initiatives going on right now including food drives, toy drives and coat drives!

You may have some or all of those items that you wish to donate, so here’s everything you need to know all in one place!

THE 14TH ANNUAL HOLIDAY FOOD DRIVE

For more than a decade, 95.9 The River has partnered with the Aurora Area Interfaith Food Pantry to help stock their shelves during the busiest time of the year. Sure, you could make a simple donation at their location at 1110 Jericho Rd, but we have made it super easy without making any special trips.

If you do your grocery shopping at Prisco’s Family Market (AURORA), Cermak Fresh Market (AURORA) or La Chiquita (MONTGOMERY), you will see these pre-packaged paper bags filled with groceries. Just put one in your cart as you do your shopping…pay for it at the register…and drop it in the bin. The Aurora Fire Department will take them to the pantry. SO EASY!

TOYS FOR TOTS

If you stop by any of the Great Lakes Credit Union locations, you’ll find boxes for you to drop some new, unwrapped toys! In partnership with the US Marines and GLCU, we can help make a child’s Christmas just that much better!

Check out GLCU.org for a location nearest you.
