If you have wanted to check out Joe the Guardian and the rest of his troll friends, you have until Sunday!

According to a report from the Daily Herald, the large and tremendously popular trolls sculptures that have adorned the Morton Arboretum will be taken down during the month of February – weather permitting, of course.

I had a chance to take the family troll hunting last summer, and it was a blast!!!

If you do plan to venture out this weekend, you may want to bring snow shoes! Forecasts call for a decent snow storm, so be prepared!

The good news is that the trolls will soon be replaced by another large-scale sculpture installment cleverly called Human+Nature from artist Daniel Popper, who previously had these semi-permanent works of art in Tulum, Mexico. They are set to be opened to the public here at the Morton Arb in April.

The Morton Arboretum is certainly a jewel of the western suburbs!
