The White Stripes sue Trump campaign over use of ‘Seven Nation Army’

The White Stripes have reunited, sort of.

The Detroit rock duo is suing former President Donald Trump for the use of their song “Seven Nation Army” in a social media post by Trump’s Deputy Director of Communications Margo Martin.

The lawsuit lists Jack White and Meg White as plaintiffs.

Jack White shared the news of the lawsuit on Instagram along with the caption, “This machine sues fascists.”

Jack White initially threatened the lawsuit by writing on social media, “Oh….Don’t even think about using my music you fascists. Law suit [sic] coming from my lawyers about this (to add to your 5 thousand others.)”
