Hi, it’s John Calhoun, and even though I don’t watch the Hallmark Channel, I do like Christmas movies.

One of my favorites is the film that introduced the song White Christmas. It was released in 1942 (12 years before the White Christmas movie).

Holiday Inn is a musical comedy about an inn that’s only open on holidays. A singer (Bing Crosby) and a dancer (Fred Astaire) compete for the love of an up-and-coming performer. Filled with Irving Berlin songs (by Bing) and dancing (by Fred), it’s a holiday classic.

If you like music, dancing and laughter, you’ll enjoy Holiday Inn.  And if you’ve already seen it, watch it again. That’s what I do every December.
