This One Just Feels…Different

Hi this is Leslie here and I keep hearing more and more about the Boeing 737 Max, and the more I hear about it, the less inclined I am to fly on one of these planes.

As you probably know, two of these planes had fatal crashes within a very short span of each other, in October of 2018 and then again in March of 2019. I’m not one to usually let that kind of stuff bother me.

For example, about six weeks after 9/11, my husband, our two young children and I flew to Europe for our family vacation. This year, I flew on 9/11 and I’m not sure if that was the reason, but I got a really cheap airfare and it didn’t bother me one bit. But this Boeing 737 Max feels different, and I don’t think I’ll want to fly one for a while.
