Jimi Hendrix might be known as the Master of the Stratocaster, but apparently he was a master strategist too.

In a recently resurfaced interview, Graham Nash revealed that Hendrix was unbeatable at the board game Risk, even while under the influence.

“Jimi would play Risk on acid,” said the fellow Woodstock alumn, adding, “He was a military man, you know, he’s a paratrooper, and I don’t know whether you know that about Jimi, but no one ever beat him at Risk.”

Gaming website Kotaku dug up another pic of Hendrix with The Experience playing the game, seemingly confirming Nash’s recollection.
