Tickets For “Live Music”. $ $ Be Prepared.
Lollapalooza tickets went on sale this morning and I took a peek just to see what kind of cost was involved!! Wow and yet I’m not totally surprised. 4 day General Admission tickets from $343, 4 day General Admission Plus from $852, 4 day VIP General Admission from $1587 and 4 day Platinum General Admission from $5086. I guess if you got the dough and wanna go there it is. Genesis tickets are not cheap either for their November 15th and 16th shows at the UC. They run from about $132 for upper level all the way up to $3981 front row center. REO Speedwagon tix are certainly more reasonably priced for their RiverEdge show on July 1st. Prices range from $86 to $204. Black Crows at Hollywood Casino Amphitheater tickets range from $40 lawn seats to $1413 right up front. Hall & Oates a bit more of a spread from $36 lawn seats to $2611 again right front. As the summer opens up more we will see more opportunities for Live Music and after 16 months of quarantine I guess we’ll pay what we have to pay. You would hope the prices are to based on value of the acts and not on what they think they can get away with!
