Happy Leap Day!  Yes it is Feb 29th and it only happens once every 4 years.  Tim Thomas here, and I missed another band in the letter “B” that I wanted to rectify.  Today, your featured Deep Cuts artist of the day is Blue Oyster Cult!  Yep…we need more cowbell this Sat morning!

The band known for hit singles like (Don’t Fear) The Reaper, Godzilla, and Burning For You formed back in 1967.  They have sold more than 24 million albums worldwide, and they are still on tour today.  They are just a great rock and roll band.  The song Burning For You got heavy rotation on MTV back in 1981 cementing the band contribution  to the development and success of the music video in modern popular culture.
