Tim Thomas’s Deep Cuts- Def Leppard!

Happy Monday!  It’s Tim Thomas and it is time to continue featuring some great Deep Cuts from some amazing bands.  We are into the “D’s” and tonight we feature Def Leppard!

No band sold more album in the 1980’s than this band.  NONE!  They have been together for more than 40 years and are still getting it done.  They are rumored to be touring with Motley Crue and Poison next year.  And they still sound great.

Now a Deep Cut for me is a song that may or may not have received a lot of radio airplay.  Think of an album cut from the band…or maybe a track that came on a soundtrack.  A song that rocks, and that the band may occasionally play live.  Here are my 4 favorites from Def Leppard:

Let It Go- from High ‘N’ Dry

Tear It Down- Adrenalize

Promises- Euphoria

All of these great tracks have that classic Def Leppard sound…and Let It Go was a song opener for a tour they did many years ago.  Tear It Down is one that has to be heard on high volume…and Euphoria is an album that you really should re-invest in.
